ANDREA D. CARTWRIGHT is the principal in the Cartwright Law Firm. P.C.; her office is located in Southfield, Michigan.  She focuses her practice in area of Debtor/creditor relations, family law, including child custody, parenting time, paternity & support matters.  Ms. Cartwright received her B.A. in June 1993 from University of Detroit Mercy (magna cum laude). Her J.D. was earned at Detroit College of Law in January 1998 (cum laude). She is a member of the Consumer Bankruptcy Association, American Bar Association, National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys, Wolverine Bar Association and Straker Bar Association.  She is also a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority and Hope United Methodist Church. She has regularly appeared as a guest on the program “Ask the Attorney” on Christian Radio 1200 AM.


LISA LIZANA SHORT, ESQ has been with the Cartwright Law Firm, P.C. since 2003.  Her primary areas of practice include consumer bankruptcy, family, business and real estate law.  Attorney Lizana Short is a graduate of Michigan State University where she received a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1992 and received a Juris Doctorate degree with a concentration in International Law from Detroit College of Law in 1998.  She is a member of the Consumer Bankruptcy Association, Family Law Section of the Michigan Bar and the Oakland County Bar Association.  As a member of Welcome Missionary Baptist Church, she on the Board of Directors of the WMBC Endowment Fund and is actively involved in its legal ministry.  Lisa is the wife of David Short and they have two children, Alex and Daelyn.
